As an ordained minister (1983) and a licensed professional counselor (1999), Dr Rick Metrick offers a refreshing biblical perspective to his writings. His passion for God excites the reader to delve deeper into God's Word and to pursue an authentic relationship with God. His intimate knowledge of sorrow and struggles, and the consistent and difficult work it takes to surrender them to God, causes the reader to immediately identify with him and to find hope.

Dr Rick is also the founder of the Just Honor God Foundation, a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting the Just Honor God way of life.
