Tom Molnar

Tom writes both nonfiction and fiction. He started storytelling when his children were young, making up bedtime tales for their enjoyment. When they grew older, he didn't want to stop so began writing works that they and others could enjoy. Influenced by Star Wars, his first books were science fiction. Tom was an electronic technician in the Army and then worked with people as an Employment Counselor, Veteran Representative and with young couples before their marriage. His books include several historical romance novels and shorter works as "Time out for Happiness," "Wired for Love," and some Biblically based nonfiction. Tom is pleased that most people seem to enjoy his books, some even writing complimentary reviews. His novels are written from an older YA and adult point of view.

Life with two buoyant daughters, two sons and a lovely but hardly docile wife appears in the sentiments of his characters, whether they be a princess, a country girl, a brave knight or civil war soldier. Tom does the research needed to flesh out his historical novels with real history. The same attention to detail is seen in his nonfiction works. For Tom, writing is an adventure, especially knowing that both young and old enjoy his works. As the craft requires a great deal of sitting, he also looks forward to playing tennis, a walk in nature, and biking on rails to trails.
