Roger Goodman, M. Mus., M. Div. was active during the Civil Rights Movement and protests over the Vietnam War, yet understanding the heterosexism of those movements. He is a veteran of the Stonewall Rebellion in NYC, June, 1969. After being an international concert harpsichordist, teacher, and recording artist; he began work on the documentary film "From the Ashes Risen." as Producer, Sreen Writer, and Director, and is the Pres./CEO of his non-profit corporation Tribal Elder Productions, NFP. Because of his addictions he became HIV+ and was diagnosed with full blown AIDS in 1995 at which time he died during a coma, but miraculously came back from death. He says the reason that he came back was because he had important transformational work to share with Queer people everywhere. Writing this book is part of that work, as is making the film.
