Peter Stamatis was born in Evanston, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois in 1990 and from law school in 1993. Since then, he has worked as a trial attorney in Chicago and since 1996, has run his own law firm, Law Offices of Peter S. Stamatis, which specializes in complex litigation and appeals. Peter is a featured opinion writer for the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin newspaper. He also serves as a Master of the Bench in the Chicago Inn of Court and is the current the vice -president of the Chicago Hellenic Bar Association. Peter lives in Chicago’s northern suburbs with his wife and children.
Sam Stamatis was born in Gargaliani, Greece in 1933. He came to the United States in 1946 and graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana in 1960 with a degree in electrical engineering. Sam spent his career working as an electrical engineer. Sam retired in 2000 and shortly thereafter, began working on this book. Sam and his wife just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. He has three children and eight grandchildren.
