Niraj Prakash Joshi

Niraj Prakash Joshi, PhD, is Associate Professor at Nepal Engineering College-Center for Postgraduate Studies (nec-CPS), Kathmandu, Nepal. Before joining the nec-CPS he served as Assistant Professor in Graduate School for International Development and Cooperation (IDEC), Hiroshima University (HU), Japan. He pursued his PhD degree in Agriculture Economics from IDEC, HU, Japan and M.Sc. Ag. (AGECON) from Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

Just recently his paper entitled "Sources of Climate Change, Its Impact and Mitigation Issues in Nepal" is published as book chapter in Book entitled "Climate Change: An Asian Perspective". The book is edited by Surjeet Singh & Mohan KS, and published by Rawat Publication.

His book entitled "Climate Change, Agriculture and Rural Livelihoods in Developing Countries (Advances in Asian Human-Environmental Research)" is scheduled to publish on May 31, 2013.
