Angela Carling

Angela Carling makes her home in Arizona with her husband, a clowder of cats, and her three grown children living nearby. Book One of her YA Secret Keeper Series garnered first place from the Paranormal Romance Reviewers Choice awards 2016. Her stand-alone romantic suspense, Shackled, was awarded the Benjamin Franklin medal from the IPBA awards 2012 and optioned as a screenplay that same year. Angela loves to write gripping stories about people on the cusp of adulthood who face the future as well as witches, tyrants, and true love with all the fearlessness and stupidity that comes with that time in life. She is passionate about mentoring young writers through teen writer’s groups, individual coaching and writing retreats in the Arizona mountains. When she’s not writing she’s remodeling their never-ending fixer-upper with her husband or foolishly trying to tame the Arizona desert to create a flourishing garden.
