Lori Jones

Lori Jones had a sixteen-year modeling career from 1981 through 1997 that included runway, print for magazines & catalogs, TV commercials, and an album cover for Kool and the Gang's, Ladies' Night.

Jones flew to Milan in 1982 and ended up living and modeling in Italy, Germany and Spain over the next five and a half years. Always interested in writing, she kept journals of her extensive travels throughout Europe and North Africa that included notes on people she met along the way.

Her debut novel, Growing Up Beautiful, offers a peek of what went on in that foreign world of fashion in the 1980’s after the cameras were turned off.
