Marlies ter Borg

Dr Marlies ter Borg is a free lance philosopher and public intellectual.

She studied philosophy and sociology at Leiden and Amsterdam University, and received a PhD from the Free University of Amsterdam.

Her latest book is on Bipolar creativity through the ages. Written both from a philosophical viewpoint and from the inside; Marlies is a creative bipolar stabilized on lithium.

As a bridgebuilder she initiated and compiled the anthology Bible and Qur’an Side by Side, published Dutch, English: Sharing Mary, and Indonesian; Berbagi tentang Maryam. Marlies was born in Indonesia in 1948
