Elke Selke

Elke Selke lives with her family in Wernigerode, the colourful town in the Harz. Already in childhood she discovered her love for handicrafts. At first doll dresses were created, later garments, fashionable accessories and decorations for the apartment.

For years, she has barely spent a day without needlework. Thus she always designs new crocheted, knitted and embroidered models, which are regularly published in magazines and books. The hand puppet crochet book is a real matter of heart project of her, which loves storytelling almost as much as crocheting.
