“After retiring from coaching for nearly 50 years in 2005, I sought challenging opportunities to fill the void of preparing and developing the chemistry of a competitive football team. Thanks to the influence and encouragement of my best friend, wife, and love, Rose, I began to write. Immediately, I learned that serious writing required the same commitment, discipline, proficiency, and attention to detail as previously found essential in coaching a successful college football team. My first 2007 published venture was a thoroughly archival and researched adult, non-fiction book called The Forward Pass: the Play that Saved Football.”
