Ralph Rochester is the author of Henry Hogge's best-selling The Pig Poets (Harper Collins) under the pen name Henry Hogge, For Love of Williamina and his verse stories The Turkey and the Baby and The Climbing Boy have been serialised in Country Life. His poetry and stories for children have won numerous prizes, including the 2011 David St John Prize for non-fiction and twice winner of the Larkhill Green Literary Prize. He was the winner of the Independent/Scholastic Children's Short Story Prize with The Man Who Had Frogs Inside Him. His work has appeared in The Literary Review, The Spectator, Punch and New Statesman. He lives in Devon and is married with four children. His latest work is Odious Comparisons which will be available in March as a limited, hand-bound edition published by Hanbury Press and on Kindle.
