Connie Dunn is a nationally recognized author, speaker, and educator. She specializes in taking writers from where they are to getting their books published.

Connie writes both fiction and non-fiction books, as well as courses. Her goal is to help her students and coaching clients reach their next goal. She spent nearly 30 years as a freelance writer, writing for magazines and newspapers. She had a regular column in the Dallas Morning News, which focused on small and home-based businesses. For this column, she won an award from the SBA (Small Business Administration). Connie also developed courses for a number of start-up technology firms and worked with publishers, such as

She self-published her first book in 1981, and developed a collection of stories with a collaborator in the 1990s. She writes children's books, non-fiction, and fiction. Connie believes that everyone has a book in them and her greatest joy is in traveling with her students on their writing journeys.

She lives in Franklin, MA, with her wife, Joyce, and their plus-size cat, Sophie, and their tiny 5 ½ pound Chihuahua, Rusty.
