David Hulon Hood is a poet, introvert and solopreneur who finds his voice in sharing poetry.
His writing is an expression of the pilgrimage from dark to light and all the variant shades in between. David's poetry encompasses doubt, hope, pain and awe---in the raw recounting of a life.
David lives in Mesquite, Texas with his beautiful wife and has two grown sons and two perfect grand-daughters.
His writing and spiritual philosophies are heavily influenced by Thomas Merton, Henri Nouwen, Richard Rohr and John O'Donohue.
David has published four previous books,"A Sacred Ceasing" in 2016, "Whispers of Never, Yet Now" in 2013, "Soul Interruption" in 2011, and "Concerning a Life" in 2010, they all are available on Amazon.com.
