Matt Ponticello

During his college years, Matt got a position in a major U.S. Corporation where he rejuvenated a company-wide, bi-monthly newspaper originally published during World War II. He ran the successful newspaper for more than 5,000 employees until his retirement 23 years later. After his retirement, he opened an auto body repair shop deep in an American inner city.

Today, he is retired, and with family and friends, recalls those disturbing events, but laughs about it now in his novel: "How to Beg for Cigarettes."

After writing "How to Beg for Cigarettes," Matt felt it was "In his blood" to write the vampire novel he always dreamed of, so he authored, "The Sunbottle Stone," which has received 5-star reviews saying it's "One really scary story." His current work is the second edtion of "How to Beg for Cigarettes," and another vampire novel entitiled: "V-Positive: The Bloodbaby Chronicles."

To show his diversity and writings, Matt has recently published "The Poet Blossomed," a collection of 1960's poetry he published in 1984.
