While I want to love God and others, relationships are not my strength. It's not that easy for an introvert like me. In helping myself (and others) deal with the challenge of relationships, I recently wrote Let's Stop Playing Games--Finding Freedom in Authentic Relationships. As background, I believe that God is all about loving relationships. He invites us into an authentic relationship with him and with each other. He makes the impossible possible, by breaking down the barrier of our own self-absorption through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I want to experience and share his unconditional love in a God-transformed, authentic community of family and friends. Currently, I am passionate about my role in co-leading Footprints, a support group for parents whose children are making destructive decisions.
