Samuel Reilly

It is with deep sadness that I need to update this page to advise readers that my dad passed away on 3rd August 2015 after a short battle with cancer. He achieved his dream of having his books published and read by people throughout the world and I hope that it has raised a few laughs for them. In his honour I will retain his original biography as written by the man himself.

Samuel, or Sam as he is known to his friends and family was born in 1932 and lived in Dennistoun, Glasgow. He has been married to Joan for over 50 years and has 5 children, 10 grand children and 4 great grand children. His book was written in the late 1970's but it is only with the recent advent of ebooks that he has been able to realise his dream of sharing this work with the rest of the world.

His book "Can you come back next week?" was the first to be published online and this has been followed up with "I got Some in" and a more recent addition "Play Days, Childhood, and other Things".

Sam would like to thank his son Graham, and Daughters Julie and Pauline, for their help in getting the books published online. He hopes everyone enjoys reading the books as much as he has enjoyed writing them.
