Maureen Stearns

Maureen Stearns has worked extensively with struggling elementary students in St. Petersburg, Florida for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of South Florida and a Master's Degree in Community Psychology from Springfield College in Tampa, Florida. In addition to writing Multiply and Divide with Sticks and Steps – Teach this Easy Method in Just 5 Minutes, Stearns has authored the award-winning book Conscious Courage: Turning Everyday Challenges into Opportunities. As a parent, author, and educator, Stearns strives to teach others in ways that matter.
