Lyle Bowlin

Born and raised in Iowa, Dr. Bowlin received his bachelor's and master's degrees from The University of Iowa. He completed doctoral studies in finance at The University of Iowa and subsequently received his doctorate in finance from Nova Southeastern University. He has taught economics, statistics, finance and investment classes for over the past 40 years.

Dr. Bowlin is an avid reader of science fiction/fantasy (shout out to Brandon Sanderson), biographies, physics titles, history, and philosophy. In addition to many finance and economics books, especially if they include behavioral aspects of finance and economics.

He has lived in Florida for over 20 years and has worked hard to become an average golfer. He is also a political junkie but I try very hard to get into political discussions.
