Clifford G. Wayne

Clifford Wayne received his MFA in writing at the University of San Francisco, is a member of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs and the League of Texas Writers. He was born in Mississippi, grew up in Louisiana, and has lived most of his adult life in Texas and California. For several years he lived on the rim of an ancient meteor impact crater near Wetumpka, Alabama with his wife Theresa and two Afghan Hounds, Niki and Howl. Recently he returned to Texas where he now lives.

His writing in recent years has focused on creating the books in the Imaginaerium Engine series - a saga for young readers (12 to 16). Prior to this series, his writing was centered on creating short stories about displaced characters from the south. He also has published two collections of plays. While he is from the south, he doesn't consider himself to be of a single place and longer believes that he is a regional writer.
