Born in 1933, Barry J. Freeman is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Northwestern University School of Law. Now a retired Chicago attorney, he lives in suburban Lincolnshire, Illinois, with his beautiful, curly-haired wife and one face-licking, overindulged dog. He and his wife have improved the world by giving it two female and two male accomplished children, who have in turn given them five wonderful grandsons, four incredible daughters-in-law, and Audrey, our wonderful, incredible, and beautiful great granddaughter.
Since his retirement, the author has published two collections of his light poetry, Never Pull A Lion’s Tail and I Finally Pulled A Lion’s Tail (both of which are illustrated by personal photos and illustrations); eight novels, And Other Immoral Purposes, A Tale of Two Lawyers, The Wanted, Ahmed's List, Assassination in Santo Domingo, Assignment Los Alamos, Finding Leila, and The Book of Leila. (The first two novels explore the law business, a subject which he knows well); and finally, three books primarily for kids containing illustrated short stories in verse. Writing has taken him out of the jaws of retirement to become his full time passion. Check out his website, www.barryslit.com.has
