Lou Morgan

Born in Wales, Lou Morgan now lives and works in Bath. Her first short story was published in 2008, and since then her work has appeared in a variety of anthologies.

Her first novel, "Blood and Feathers" - an urban fantasy described as 'Alice in Wonderland goes to Hell' - was published in the UK & the US by Solaris Books in 2012, with the sequel, "Blood and Feathers: Rebellion" released in 2013. Both novels were nominated for the British Fantasy Society's 'best fantasy novel' award, and Lou was a finalist for the Sydney J. Bounds 'Best Newcomer' award for the first book.

Her study-drug YA horror, "Sleepless", was a finalist in the Hillingdon Book of the Year award in 2016.

Lou has written articles for genre magazines including SFX, and is a long- and short-list reader for the Bath Novel Award.
