Roberta Karchner

Retired PCUSA Pastor, author, teacher, and Web site developer.

Rev Karchner was born in Tucson Arizona, 2nd of 8 children. With her father in the Air Force, she had lived in several states, crossed Europe, and spent 3 years living in Spain before entering Jr High School.

After spending early years in Accounting, she moved into NonProfit ministry, as a Missionary Services Director, Prayer Ministry Director, and Communications Assistant. Later she would write for four agencies as a freelance writer and complete her BA in Communications before entering San Francisco Theological Seminary and receiving her Masters of Divinity.

She was ordained in PCUSA in October 2005 and retired December 2020.

She spent 43 years as wife to Gary Lee Karchner, before he went before her to glory following a battle with Multiple System Atrophy.

During this time Rev. Karchner learned what it meant to trust God in all circumstances.
