James Carmody

Hello, my name is James Carmody.

I am the author of 'The Girl Who Dreamt of Dolphins', 'Dolphin-Child' & 'Midnight Dolphin' which together form the Dolphin-Child Trilogy about a girl called Lucy Parr and the special ability she has to communicate with a dolphin called Spirit.

I have also written 'The Sweet Waters of AcquaDolce' which, if you read the novel, will help you learn about 850 words and expressions in Italian, all without really trying. I spent two years teaching English in Italy after my degree some years ago, and that experience indirectly inspired me to write this book

I was born in 1967 and live and work in London. I am married and have one daughter.
