I live in a small town near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with my wife, son, dog, and tatzelwurm. Born in Munich, I grew up just outside the Bavarian metropolis but moved to the United States when I was in my early twenties. A literary critic by training, I split my eclectic writing interests between academic articles and fiction books.
