"Walks Along a Hidden Creek" is my first book. It is a book of poems about finding inspiration in the natural world, in the changing of the seasons, in quiet reflection, and in the hopes, regrets and wisdom that come from everyday life.

I grew up in a middle class family in North Carolina. My parents had a simple weekend cabin a few miles from town, so I spent a lot of time in the woods on the weekends. Observing nature and the seasons from such a close perspective changed my life in a positive way. I believe that nature will impart wisdom to us if we quietly listen. A few of the poems are not specifically about nature, unless you include human nature. I hope that you will enjoy the poems in my book.
