Seán Patrick Duffy

Seán Patrick Duffy grew up in Warwood, West Virginia. He earned a BA in History from Wheeling Jesuit College, a JD from the Washington College of Law at the American University, and an MBA from Wheeling Jesuit University. He contributed writing, editing and more to "Foundations of Freedom" (CET, 2005), a DVD-ROM on the history of the U.S. Constitution. He is the author of the books: "The Wheeling Family: A Celebration of Immigrants & Their Neighborhoods" (Creative Impressions, 2008), "Wheeling: Then & Now" with Paul Rinkes (Arcadia , 2010), and "The Wheeling Family, Volume 2: More Immigrants, Migrants & Neighborhoods" (Jim Thornton, 2012). He edited and contributed writing to "Legendary Locals of Wheeling" (2013) with historian Brent Carney. He also contributed chapters to "Wheeling During the Civil War" (2015). Duffy works for the Ohio County Public Library in programming, publicity, and archives, and resides in Wheeling, West Virginia.
