Ronald M. Bazar

Ronald M Bazar is a health and wellness author whose work focuses on practical guidance for better sleep, nutrition, personal health decision-making, and family preparedness.

Born in Montreal and educated at McGill and Harvard Universities, Ronald has spent more than four decades involved in natural health as an author, entrepreneur, publisher, researcher, and business consultant. His books reflect a long-standing belief that health guidance should be practical, individualized, and useful in real life.

His work includes Sleep Secrets: How to Fall Asleep Fast, Beat Fatigue and Insomnia and Get a Great Night’s Sleep, Your Perfect Diet, The Prostate Health Diet, and The Single Most Important Health Secret Of All Time. His newest book, The Family Handbook of Illness: Everyday Illness, Serious Illness, and What to Do Next, was written as a calm household guide for families who want to recognize illness patterns, support recovery, and know when it may be time to seek medical care.

Earlier in his publishing career, Ronald co-wrote and published several widely distributed children’s books, including I Love Not Smoking, From A to Z by Bike, and the Good Planets Are Hard to Find series. He also helped found The Trust for Sustainable Forestry, an organization dedicated to protecting endangered forests.

Ronald lives on a remote island in British Columbia, Canada, where he gardens, spends time outdoors, and enjoys hiking, swimming, skiing, running, kayaking, and playing Ultimate Frisbee. His life and writing are shaped by a lifelong interest in health, nature, family, and practical self-care.
