I'm British but I left the UK in 2003 to work as a PADI Scuba Instructor and now I live in a small town in the south of Spain. I am married to Rebecca and we have four dogs and nine cats.

Timekeepers is the first book in the Tempus Viator trilogy, a series of books aimed at children aged 9 to 90. The three books follow the adventures of Thomas and Emily Fletcher, a young brother and sister, as they try answer some important questions. Why is a mysterious knight trying to kill them? Who are the mysterious time travellers that come to their rescue?

I wrote Timekeepers for my niece and nephew, the real Thomas and Emily, because I don't get to see them as much as I would like. They are supposed to be the main characters in all three books but if I don't get a really good birthday present this year then I might have to kill them off in book two.

I think history is fascinating so I have tried to make the historical references in Timekeepers as accurate as possible. The physics that I have used to explain time travel, however, is just nonsense.
