Alexandra Samuel

ALEXANDRA SAMUEL, PhD, is a social scientist, journalist and speaker who helps people work the way they're wired. Her articles on AI and the future of work appear frequently in The Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review, and she has written for The Atlantic, Oprah, CBC Radio, JSTOR Daily, and The Toronto Star. She is a keynote speaker who has brought a new vision for the workplace to organizations like Microsoft, Zoom, the NIH, and TD Bank.

Alex is the author of Working Neurosmart: How to Work the Way You're Wired to Find Focus and Feel Fulfilled (Simon Acumen, 2027) and Work Smarter with Social Media (Harvard Business Review Press, 2015), and the co-author (with Robert Pozen) of Remote, Inc.: How to Thrive at Work...Wherever You Are (Harper Business, 2021). Her award-winning musical documentary podcast Me + Viv follows her real-life experiment with creating an AI coach.

Alex holds a PhD from Harvard University, and lives in Vancouver Canada with her three neurodivergent family members and their neurotypical dog.
