Elise L. Smith

Elise L. Smith is Professor of Art History and Sanderson Chair of Arts and Sciences at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. She received her M.A. at Vanderbilt University and her Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. In addition to these three books, she has published a variety of articles on topics related to art and cultural history.
