Faye Alison Gilbert

Children are my favorite people. As a kindergarten tutor in a public elementary school, I have lots of fun teaching kids to read and write (and tie their shoes). Since the 2011 debut of A Wedding, Me, and the Family Tree, my books have included Mushy Red Stuff, Sweet and Sour Power, Fiddle Dee Dee, Redheaded Ed, and Pop. In 2017, Fiddle Dee Dee was chosen by the BonTon Corporation to be sold in their former Boston Store department stores and on their website. Later, my books found a home in the Museum of Wisconsin Art’s (MOWA) gift shop. The Gingerbread Gram, my newest title, dashed onto the book scene in December 2025. When I write, I eat lots of chocolate for inspiration. (Only kidding. I just like chocolate.)
