Timothy D. Amos

Timothy Amos is currently a Senior Lecturer in Japanese Studies at the University of Sydney. He received his PhD in East Asian History from the Australian National University. His research primarily focuses on questions of human rights, marginality, and social stratification in Japan from the early modern period through to the present, with a particular focus on historic outcaste communities.
