Michael Veith

Michael Veith was born in St. Paul Minnesota in 1962. He lived in Hibbing until the age of five and moved to Bloomington, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1980. He joined the Navy and served aboard the USS Independence. A Christmas tradition of reading stories eventually resulted in his first book, "Christmas Treasures, Heartwarming Stories for the Holiday Season". He is a member of the local authors group,Northwest Regional Writers Association. His stories have appeared in The Inter County Leader and Country Life Magazine, and have won numerous awards at the annual Indianhead regional writing contest in Spooner wisconsin.
