Helmut Adam

Helmut Adam is a German-Austrian author and publisher. Born in Switzerland in 1973, he worked as a bartender and bar manager in various renowned cocktail bars in Zurich, Vienna, Berlin and London. In 2003, he set up his own business as a publisher, consultant and event organizer.

He became known to the public as the founder and long-standing publisher of "Mixology - Magazine for Bar Culture", co-founder of the international bar trade fair "Bar Convent Berlin" and organizer of the well-known "Mixology Bar Awards".

In addition to his work as a columnist for international publications such as Imbibe and Drink, he has conceived and written a series of cocktail books. The most well-known of these is the "Cocktailian" book series, which was launched in 2010 and of which three volumes have been published in a total of nine editions to date.
