My latest book, "Average Guy meets Extraordinary God," Is considered a biography, but it's far from tjust another biography. In fact, it’s not strictly a bio at all, and certainly not just another biography.
Before publication, every book is classified as to content, message, and purpose—perhaps by an editor at a publishing house, or by a bot at Amazon. My latest book has been classified as a biography. As a result, this brand new book is rated by sales among the thousands of “Religious Leader Biographies” that have been offered on Amazon for years.
Strictly speaking "Average Guy Meets Extraordianary God" is a biography, but it’s not really my biography. Yes, I'm one of the characters in the book, but I'm revealed to be a pretty average guy compared with many of the people with whom I was privileged to live and work. Thorughout my life, I've found myself serious one minute and flippant the next. At one moment I've been a tragic modern day Hamlet, and the next a near-sighted but courageous Don Quiote, attacking windmills with a lance. One moment, earnest, even intense, and the next a buffoon in a TV sit com.
I'm typical of the person who strives for righteousness one mnoment, yet is forever prone to sin. And I am an individual who almost perfectly symbolizes fallen man and woman, just an “Average Guy.”
In my latest book, I am not even mentioned in some of the chapters, while in others I simply serve as a commentator or witness to the events described in that chapter. I would be the first to tell you, having been an average guy for over 86 years, that I would never presume to call myself a “Christian Leader.”
But in every chapter, you will find the true “Christian Leader,” the person about whom this biography is really written. Sometimes our hero is reflected momentarilly in the lives of the those in these pages to whom I pay tribute. Sometimes he is shown to be their deliverer.
So while this book is listed among thousands of “Religious Leader Biographies,” it is not about me. This book is about the person who delivers average guys like you and me out of the messes we create for ourselves, and out of the quandries in which we frequently find ourselves.
This great and glorious leader appears in every chapter in the person of The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
