Michael Hager

Michael Dane Hager is a novelist, essayist, playwright, and songwriter. Born and raised in California and graduated from the University of California at Davis and completed his Masters in 1986. He has had numerous songs recorded by a variety of artists, including his solo artist albums Echoes Across the Divide, 2022, and Fire on the Water, 2023. His novel Just Beyond the Edge was published in 2011. His theatrical play, The Last Ride, was produced in 2009 and received rave reviews from critics and sold-out audiences. Michael also ventured into the screenwriting arena and his two film scripts An Uncertain Course and A Settling of Scores have received laurels at numerous film festivals.
