Hi, I live in Barcelona Spain and I have been Teaching EFL (English as a foreign language) for nearly 20 years. For the last decade or so I have been predominantly teaching Young Learners at the British Council and I've been adapting, using and spinning materials around video games (mainly online free ones) in classes for the majority of this time. It's not only seeing how engaging a skills or language activity is when it is based around gaming but also realising how rich a source of narrative and language can emerge from video games that led to the book 'Digital Play: Computer Games and language aims'. Of course, the book is predated by the blog (http://digitalplay.info/blog/) I run with co-author Graham Stanley but the book itself has proved to be much more hard work and, in the end, far more rewarding. I hope you and your language learners can enjoy as much as learn from it.
