Bobbi Kornblit

BOBBI KORNBLIT's award-winning debut novel, SHELTER FROM THE TEXAS HEAT, was set in the Lone Star State where she was born and raised.

Her second novel, RED CARPET RIVALS, revolves around intriguing relationships of characters with secrets and goals, set in Hollywood from the 1980s to the present.

The work of fiction was inspired by the author's experiences when she walked down countless red carpets in Hollywood with her husband, who was a top movie studio executive.

SHELTER FROM THE TEXAS HEAT won numerous awards, including the BEST BOOK in Women's Fiction for the NABE Pinnacle Book Achievement Award, Indie Excellence Award for Multicultural Fiction, Georgia Author of the Year First Fiction Finalist, Kathy L. Murphy's Pulpwood Queen's Book Club, and the American Library Association's list of 50 Best Books with JFK.

RED CARPET RIVALS was selected by Kathy L. Murphy's Pulpwood Queen's Book Club 2018 list.

Bobbi earned her BA from The University of Texas at Austin and holds a Master of Arts degree in Professional Writing from Kennesaw State University. A former journalist, she currently instructs writing at several universities and corporations in Atlanta, where she resides.
