Todd A. Finkle Ph.D.

Dr. Todd A. Finkle recently won a NATIONAL BOOK AWARD for his recent popular book titled “WARREN BUFFETT: INVESTOR AND ENTREPRENEUR” published by Columbia University Press in six different languages. Dr. Finkle grew up with the Buffetts in Omaha and went to school with Peter. He also took six groups of students to visit Buffett and went out to lunch with him three times.

The book is one of the most up-to-date biographies/memoirs of Warren Buffett. The reader can learn from the entrepreneurial ventures throughout Buffett’s life (childhood, partnerships, and Berkshire Hathaway). The author has 34 years of experience teaching entrepreneurship at the university level, which he shares with readers.

The book also has three valuable chapters on Buffett’s investment methodology (secret sauce). Dr. Finkle takes you through step-by-step on how to use a real-world example (Apple, Inc.) and how to value a company.

There is also a chapter that focuses on 21 of Buffett’s investment mistakes and the behavioral biases, which are outlined in another chapter, which led to them.

There are also chapters on Charlie Munger, the history of Berkshire Hathaway, shareholder’s meetings, values, fintech/current financial trends.

Dr. Finkle’s goal is to make readers savvier in their decision making so they can reach financial independence. He also wants readers to learn about Buffett’s influences and values so they can live a more fulfilled life.
