A. J. Walkley

Born and raised in Connecticut, A.J. Walkley spent time as a health volunteer in Malawi, Africa, with the U.S. Peace Corps after graduating from Dickinson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature in 2007. She has three novels to her name: Choice (2009), Queer Greer (2012) and Vuto (2013).

A nationally-known bisexual activist, Walkley was one of 30 individuals invited to participate in the first White House Roundtable on Bisexuality in September 2013. Walkley was tapped to be a judge of the 2013, 2014, and 2015 Lambda Literary Awards as a result of her writing and activism.
