Julie L. Miller

Julie Miller was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She graduated from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting & art history. After this, because of her passion for the sciences, she went back to school and got a second degree in cytology. She uses her visual skills to look at human cells through a microscope in a pathology lab by day, and to create artwork in her home studio by night.

Her love of vintage photographs, science, and the strange are constant influences on her work. Miller's artwork has appeared in numerous groups shows as well as a handful of solo exhibitions. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two dogs.
