Tom Heston MD

Tom Heston MD is a physician, researcher, and writer whose work spans medicine, education, and creative expression. He earned his medical degree at St. Louis University and trained at Duke University, Oregon Health & Science University, the University of Washington, and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Heston has taught at Johns Hopkins University, the International American University in St. Lucia, and currently serves on faculty at the University of Washington and Washington State University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the American College of Nuclear Medicine.

His recent publications and creative works explore medical fragility metrics, health, and the human side of medicine.
