I got the writing bug when I was just twenty-five years old. I decided to have a go at a short story, but it spun out of control and became my first novel, 'ALICE ALONE'. It had a dark twist (no spoilers!) and the critics loved it. Since then I have produced 19 more best-sellers - like 'THE SPLIT', 'LIFE BEGINS', 'THE OTHER WOMAN', 'GOOD GIRLS', 'SISTERS & HUSBANDS', 'RELATIVE LOVE' and my latest, 'THE TWIN'., a heart-breaker with a happy ending that made me cry even when I wrote it...

What drives me as a writer is getting to the nitty-gritty of all those vital relationships in our lives - as mums, dads, kids, lovers, friends, siblings and everything in between. Happiness or Dysfunction - the starting point is always the human heart.

I am a realist, but also a full-on romantic. The core of me loves every character I create and wants the best for them.
