George Harrison grew up in Saratoga & Vernon,
two small horse-racing towns in upstate New York.
George started working in the Harness racing
business at a young age in his father's stable
until he turned his passion for horse racing to
Thoroughbreds, working primarily as an exercise
rider on the
Florida, Kentucky, and New York circuits for
over 30 years across the United States & Canada.
Horse Talk 2 is a continuation from Horse Talk 1 and is a collaboration of over 250 words or phrases dealing with Thoroughbred racing and training terminology, including jockey strategy, the important role of the exercise riders, and a bunch of fun slang terms that can only be explained by the author.
