Jim McPherson

Jim McPherson wrote and published the 6-issue series of PHANTACEA comic books from 1977 until 1980. He also wrote and published a PHANTACEA Phase One comic book in 1987 and the graphic novel entitled "Forever & 40 Day - The Genesis of PHANTACEA" in 1990. A number of mostly Canadian or British-born illustrators provided the artwork for these publications.

Phantacea Publications has recently issued a slightly updated compilation of an entire story sequence that first appeared in the comic books. Entitled "Phantacea Revisited 1: The Damnation Brigade", its dedicated web page is here: http://www.phantacea.com/pHrev1Page.html.

Since the mid-90s Jim McPherson has web-serialized a number of novels, mini-novels and story sequences on pH-Webworld (http://www.phantacea.info/synop1.htm). He maintains, and is particularly pleased with, a long-serving web page entitled Serendipity and Phantacea.

It contains often amusing but always remarkable sights seen, mostly in world media, that he reckons apply directly to the Phantacea Mythos. To this day he is often astonished re-reading some of its entries. A clickable list of them, going back to 1996, is here: http://www.phantacea.info/seren.htm#TheList

Phantacea Publications has now print-published three full-length novels and three mini-novels featuring the Phantacea Mythos, which Jim McPherson describes variously as either Anheroic Fantasy or Modern Day Mythology.

The latest full-length novel, "Goddess Gambit", concludes the epic Thrice-Cursed Godly Glories fantasy trilogy begun in 2008's "Feeling Theocidal". He is currently at work polishing two more mosaic novels featuring the Phantacea Mythos. Both will fit into the Launch 1980 story cycle that began with 2009's "The War of the Apocalyptics".

To date, the novels and mini-novels that make up the entirety of the epic Thrice-Cursed Godly Glories fantasy trilogy, as well as "The War of the Apocalyptics", the opening entry in the Launch 1980 fantasy cycle, are available as e-books on Amazon's Kindle platforms.

He occasionally writes and publishes a travelogue website entitled Jim McPherson's Travels. Phantacea and/or Phantacea Publications are imprints used by James H McPherson, Publisher.

Jim McPherson presents photographs and collages he digitally created (often, though not exclusively, using his own travel shots) on all three of his websites. None his websites contain advertising for anything except Phantacea Mythos print and e-book publications.

Currently, the main sites featuring Jim McPherson's Phantacea Mythos are: http://www.phantacea.info/ for the PHANTACEA Mythos online and http://www.phantacea.com/ for Phantacea Publications. He maintains a Phantacea Mythos blog at http://www.phantacea.com/blog.
