Michael A. Heck

Michael A. Heck, a native and lifelong resident of Plaquemine, Louisiana is married to Judith Gary Heck and has two girls, Mikelyn Scheid and Neila Heck and one granddaughter, Cortnee Diamond. He is an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. His passion for writing developed when he was a young man hospitalized in New Orleans. Mike was born with multiple tumors that ravished his shoulders, eyes, neck and skull. After more than thirty surgeries doctors gave him a life expectancy of forty years. Approving doctors wrong Mike is 69 years old and continues to lead a full busy and full life.
