Eve Sharon "Evia" Moore is an interracially-married essayist, interracial and intercultural relationship adviser, writer, podcaster, and producer of a growing series of books, newsletters, and podcasts on the subject of interracial and intercultural marriage. In 2007, the Associated Press interviewed Evia over a period of weeks for an AP article on interracial marriage. Her website, blackfemaleinterracialmarriage.com, was spotlighted in the article that focused on the surge in black women entering interracial relationships and marriages.

This popular niche website provides practical, empowering advice to women and encourages them to embrace the abundance in all realms of life, which includes making the commonsense decision to take advantage of all of their dating and mating options by inviting quality, interested men of all races and cultures into their potential relationship pool.

The site, that began in 2006, soon "morphed" into a popular Ezine that has attracted millions of visits. Along with provocative essays and conversations, the site contains numerous videos, article links, and photos of black woman-non-black man couples from all walks of life-from the rich and famous to the ordinary.

"With my blog, I want to shine the light on interracial and intercultural marriage options for African American women. These are other choices that upwardly mobile African-American women have for love and marriage that are not often reflected in the black or white media. I wanted to urge these women to take advantage of the many possibilities for love and marriage outside their immediate environment, just as women of other races and ethnicities do."

Evia urges African-American women to "feel free to date and marry any suitable, compatible, loving, and lovable man of quality from any background in the global village. The 'quality' of the man and compatible values are the critical factors--not skin shade," she stresses.

Evia is the proud mother of two sons, and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in comparative cultures (ethnology) and counseling. Aside from writing and advising, she devotes herself to appreciating the arts, along with creating and selling her fiber art and jewelry designs. Evia travels widely and has lived abroad.
