James Bryant

My pen-name is James Bryant and I'm a 40-something year old male who was born in Cornwall, England. Most of my working career has been spent in the computing industry, with writing being my main hobby. Primarily I write science-fiction and fantasy mysteries but also some non-fiction humour. A fair amount of my work is unfinished awaiting free-time to finish editing it to self-publish on Amazon for the Kindle.

My first completed e-book that I published in 2011 was a non-fiction humour title called 'Train Strain' which has exceeded my expectations and as of late 2015 has sold over 1,000 copies, which isn't too bad for an unknown author. Pricing was very difficult to decide on as I'm no professional and not in this for the money but you do like to see some material value to one's work. Hopefully 99p is a respectful price.

My second completed e-book is a short story called 'Fated' that I have published late 2012 and gives an insight (I hope) into my fictional mind. It's more a concept piece of work designed to ask questions of the reader in order to provoke debate and broaden the mind. The following year came "Life Strife" which is a very similar vain to "Train Strain" but orientated towards general more mundane life issues. Between 2014-2015 I took a break from longer pieces of work and did a couple short stories which became part of an anthology organised by a local author. Then,
