Bill Jones

Bill Jones, Jr. is an American novelist born in Washington D.C. Bill's work generally involves speculative fiction, with occasional forays into crime thrillers. His work is wide-ranging, including the dystopian sci-fi tome Hard As Roxx; the contemporary fantasy fiction trilogy, The Stream; detective stories The Little Burgundy and The Brooklyn Trace; as well as African American alternate history in The Stubborn Life of Jesse Ed McKinney.

Bill has also released three short fiction collections and the six-volume Aligned Worlds future fiction series: Year 5601, The Bohemian Stars, Ordinary Dust, 20 Million Billion Leagues Past Detroit, Stars Aligned, and If A Robot Play The Blues Do It Still Be Funky.

Having retired from his former career, Bill spends his time creating fictional worlds, reading, world building, smiling at grandsons, and exploring Earth with his cameras and his artist-photographer wife.
