I enjoy writing and have numerous publications involving books , articles in educational technology journals and letters to the editor (The New York Times & USA Today). I strive to be a lifelong learner and grateful for having the opportunity to complete eight degree programs. My academic background includes a BA in social work, five masters' degrees (religious education, history, administration, e-education and computing in education/cognitive psychology [Columbia University] and two doctoral degrees. The degree programs have taught me many valuable lessons on how to cultivate research and writing skills. I have had a diversity of jobs: campus minister, taught profoundly handicapped adults, high school history teacher, college administrator and currently work as a university teacher. My books reflect my passion for exploring the nature of wisdom and how to help individuals make the best choices to live a rich and satisfying life.
